REGINA AUXILIARY
about us
our history
The Regina Auxiliary was organized March 10, 1958, with 63 Charter Members. Its purpose: to give voluntary service to the patients and residents of Regina through ways proposed or approved by the administration.
our logo
The hearty tree symbolizes all aspects of our Auxiliary. In addition to ongoing growth, the roots symbolize charter members and represent the early years of service when projects were switchboard operators, sewing and mending, receptionist and library cart volunteers.
The trunk represents a strong membership with over 60 years of continued service. The strong, outreaching branches represent today’s committees, some of which are bazaar, garage sale, creative activities, Ecumenical services, bloodmobile, and fund raisers such as Gift Shop and Country Store, book sales, art fairs, and much more. The leaves represent the many projects funded by the Auxiliary, such as: a van for senior living, patio furniture for the cafeteria, diagnostic equipment, blanket warmers, to name only a few.
The circles were added to represent the circle of friendship that joins Auxiliary members. New projects, activities and members will add to the ongoing growth and strength of the Auxiliary.
